This Privacy Policy explains how R44 Cockpit Trainer ("the App") collects, uses, and handles information when you use the iOS application provided by Michael Parsons / Avi8 Global ("we", "us", or "our").

Information We Collect

The App is designed to minimize data collection. Depending on how you use the App, the following information may be processed:

• Cockpit Memory Items, and POH related Material
• Do NOT Rely On App For Operating procedures, always check official manuals
• Subscription and purchase status information provided by Apple through StoreKit.
• Basic local app settings, such as free-calculation counts and any backend URL you choose to save on your device.

How Information Is Used

We use information only to operate the App’s features, including:

• Enabling and restoring premium subscription access.
• Remembering your local settings and usage state on your device.

Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores limited data locally on your device using Apple-provided storage, such as:

• Your remaining free-use / trial state.
• Locally saved app settings, including an optional custom backend URL if you enter one.

We do not claim ownership of your locally stored entries, and they are used only to support the App experience on your device.

Network Requests and Third Parties

The App may send data you enter to third-party services only when needed to provide requested features.

• Subscription purchases and restore actions are handled by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store.

These third parties may process information under their own privacy practices. We recommend reviewing their policies if you use those services.

Payments and Subscriptions

All in-app purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details. We may receive subscription status information from Apple that is necessary to determine whether premium access is active.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to operate the App’s requested functionality, such as sending route or airport lookup requests to the service providers described above.

Data Retention

Data stored locally on your device remains there until you remove it, reset the App, or delete the App. Information transmitted to third-party services is subject to those services’ own retention practices.

Your Choices

• You can avoid using network-backed features by not performing route, waypoint, or airport lookups.
• You can remove the App and its local data by deleting the App from your device.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple App Store account settings.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
